My family is very odd about this. My mom was going on about how she felt bad she was on some medication when all her older relatives never were and I was like mom: they were all drunks. Literally: *we were self-medicating drunks.* That is not NOT being medicated. It is WHY they're drinking!

While I DO have a number of great habits and routines now, the drugs are key. I had to write down everything I'm on ahead of my colonoscopy and was like, ok, yeah, well, this is why I no longer have to self-medicate with alcohol. I'm fully NON-self medicated to the nth degree. And it works. 🤠

Some day job related absurdism today that I felt weirdly chill about, and then remembered I'd taken a lorazepam earlier when it first hit 😆 There's just so much going on everywhere that one more absurdist thing is like, yeah, ok, sure, aliens are real etc.
