He was running for a Western Victorian Upper House seat. His wife represents the seat of Kew in the inner east. @benraue.com was on The Tally Room this morning talking about upper house seat sizes chosen so that they couldn't be local reps.

but the personal upside is that volunteering is a third space and there are precious few of those available. Took me a couple of tries to find my people but I did find them and I feel like I am making a contribution to my community even if it's in a very small way.
