Thanks man, it’s really about his widow and 3 kids but I talked to him in the past and I’m sure at least monetarily they’re well taken care of. So that’s a bit of a relief at least. Been to too many funerals over the last year tho 🤦🏾‍♂️

Y'know, I'd never even known there was a novel of that name until today! The only Appointment in Samarra reference I've ever known has been the Arabic story the novel was apparently based on, from an anthology of old horror stories I've had for years. You'd recommend the novel, then?
