i will always welcome bug reports. one day it'll be something that matters. but my god the sloppocalypse is exhausting

here's a public example. this is a bunch of paragraphs formatted as if it's a security vulnerability (it's not), which is immediately stressful. it talks about ruby, there is no ruby in the repo. it produces a "POC" in binary, and a program to load it. why! we have a cli tool. it's a single line bug

if i miss an important bug, it's terrible consequences for other people. if i resolve them all, even the noise, the "only" downside is that it burns away my own life. in terms of game theory, this is an awful arrangement. AI tooling is literally outsourced stress

new technologies are always pitched as making your life easier and saving you time by people who don't use them. here i am reading bug report slop, whittling away my life trying to understand which are inconsequential and what tiny fraction is absolutely critical. is completely overwhelming

triaging: how would they know? addressing: they already come with open PRs with bugfixes. the bugfixes are wrong. for example compare github.com/katef/libfsm... (mine) github.com/katef/libfsm... (theirs) how would "my" llm know any different? it took discussion with two people to get there
