It could not place the more difficult pieces in a very low-res map from this recent paper of mine: doi.org/10.1107/S205... (fitting illustrated in Movie S5). But it is still a very useful addition to the toolbox! @olibclarke.bsky.social you can probably retire your carefully tuned fitmap commands. 😉

Today I discovered a new @chimerax.ucsf.edu extension on the Toolshed: FlashVESPER, made by @kiharalab.bsky.social cxtoolshed.rbvi.ucsf.edu/apps/chimera... If you think rigid-body fitting of a model into a #cryoEM map is a solved problem, give it a try: it works so well and is so fast! 🤩
