I follow a vegan diet because of concern for animal welfare - it was a @newscientist.com article on the dairy industry that pushed me over the edge And also, we've animals, and people eat what they need to eat: I'm not here to tell you how to live But its easy to give it a go

I was starving and had no food at the crib, so I splurge & get cava.. all for them to give me the wrong version. It hurts bc im vegan and it was feta cheese everywhere

De ahí que «vegano» y «plant-based» no sean sinónimos, aunque la prensa los mezcle a diario. Plant-based es un término culinario y comercial: describe ingredientes, no una postura ética. Una dieta puede ser plant-based e incluir carne, lácteos, pescado, huevos, etc.
