I can't tell you how many times I've been asked to buy reams of paper and boxes of Kleenex for my kid's schools. Oh, and his lovely elementary school was sold. But sure, they're financing expensive operations.

My wife is an SLP and I listen to her all day teaching speech qualified kids stuff like this. And every time, I think, maybe we should teach this to all the kids? Like not just by example and one off instructions in the regular classroom, but as purposeful curriculum given to general ed kids.

I get it. Gotta teach math and science and make due with already stretched budgets. But seems like it would go a long way to improving society in a generation.
