we as trans people are in immense danger right now. we may be in *even more* danger in the near future. but are we at the point where i or many other trans people are ready to make that call? for me, no.

I posted about my book news on Instagram and was immediately reminded of all the people I no longer have real connection with because I don't use the app. Unlike other bad apps (ahem, Substack) where there are plenty of alternatives, Instagram really has captured a whole realm of communication.
