There was a line from an urban legend when I was a kid that read "She has become as she was always meant to be." I think about it a lot when I look back at who I was and who I am now. Transition, gryphons, fighting for human rights. I was a scared child, then I became who I was always meant to be.

Meanwhile ppl actually living in these spaces and being pushed out are left to navigate on their own while ppl online just convince themselves everything's great with social scripts, optics and platitudes. They won't care until it's them in the situation and then they'll just quietly conform.
