I lived in Malta for two years and I never got used to the fact that it got dark during the summer and the sun rose during the winter, like it always felt so weird to me.
Show PostI used to walk 2 kilometers to school every day in -20°C weather and eternal night. We would get a brief glimpse of sunlight during the lunch break. And we didn't have sidewalks, you'd just walk on the side of the road.

huh that's crazy. And it's because the hyperscalers aren't really showing any payoff for their AI investments? And there're concerns about the money not being there to justify all of this investment in AI data centers? Oh and the neoclouds are unstable too? That's crazy man. News to me
