Trump pining for the era of bank checks reminds me of Spy magazine's "Finding the Cheapest Zillionaire" prank. They created a fake clearinghouse and sent a series of checks to wealthy people to see who would cash the smallest amount. Only Trump and Adnan Khashoggi cashed the checks for 13 cents.

Pleasantly surprised that Russia vetoed the UNSC resolution put forward by the United States on Western Sahara. Not what I expected and quite literally the only good thing Russia has done at the UN in years.
