I feel your pain. Not in IT myself but...Been at this job since 2009. Desperately need a new one because the pay here sucks...Legit don't know what I'd do if I got laid off. My degree is worthless, my "skills" are a not-easily-marketable hodgepodge of the many hats I've worn here over the years.

Unfortunately, right now, too many think skills or even trades learned over years and refined over a lifetime can be replaced by one good prompt.
