Patrick Stewart was the 1st actor I ever got to direct on my very 1st episode of TV. It was over the phone and he hadn’t read the script yet so I got to listen to him laugh out loud in real time to the silly words we put on the page. Years later we got the chance to sit & talk X-Men. It was a dream.
