Went out with Mrs J and some friends tonight for dinner in what used to be our local pub but is now a very successful Turkish restaurant. Absolutely superb. Cheap? No. Worth the extra over pub grub? 100%

Would love a bx, an oddball even in its era. I want an XM but good ones are hard to find. A C6 would be lovely but you would need deep pockets for servicing.

The Renault Frégate doesn’t seem to be much liked by the French classic car scene, but this 1956 model in two-tone blue with Rogerel wire wheels looks pretty cool to me. #WeirdCarBS #CarPhotography

With hindsight most updates to cars tend to make them uglier. It was definitely the case with the Fiat 124 coupé. Series 1 was pretty, series 2 was neat & inoffensive, but number 3 was positively baroque. Still, I was happy to see this French-registered series 3. #WeirdCarBS #CarPhotography

TBH I was rather expecting to see some Citroen Méharis in St Tropez, but I was happy to see this 1st gen. Renault Espace. The lady said that it was a 1987 model & it had been longer in her husband’s life than she had been!! #weirdcarbs #carphotography
