Yes!! Ordering this straight off! It's no exaggeration when I say Terry should be in the pantheon of this country's greatest popular authors.

By chance, I watched all of Flux this week, and agree with you that Whitworth is one of the all-time great cameos, up there with Robert Holmes’s greatest characters. Particularly loved the Tunnel No. 9 reference (“Everybody dies!”) for personal reasons, which I hadn’t noticed until now.

Flux is one of my all-time favourite Who stories. It's dumb, stupid, noisy, makes no sense, and by the end Chibnall is trying to nail fog to a flag in a storm and missing every time. But it's also brilliant. Quintessential Who. And I love it. And the ballboy gag is worth the entrance fee alone

God, she’s awful. She’s always been awful and she remains awful and don’t get me started on her choice of man.
