I don't think so...? I think the worst has already happened to them and name suppression helps the perpetrator more than the victims. It's hard to believe he won't reoffend when he barely suffered consequences this time around. But I'm open to hearing perspectives from victims.

Why should their wealth reduce his consequences? It feels like yet another example of the parasite economy having different rules for the ultra-rich than for the rest of us.

There are more potential victims out there where IDing the criminal could prevent further harm, this is extreme, deliberate offending, and I definitely don't care if he, his family or their businesses are cancelled, especially if they're deploying their resources in favour of him over the victims.

NZ's judges are just straight up saying the quiet part out loud now: wealth gets you special treatment. However contemptuous you feel towards NZ's judges it probably is still a fraction of the contempt they deserve.
