Yes, Hamas won the 2006 election, that was 20 years ago, with 44.45% of the vote. There have been no national elections since. You seriously suggesting that an entire population, including children who weren't even born then, deserves collective punishment for the actions of an armed organisation?

Flaga already say it all. Saying "Hamas started this" is just a way of erasing decades of occupation, dispossession & Palestinian resistance. Hamas was founded in 1987, during the First Intifada NOT out of some historical vacuum. (Even funded by Israel at some point).

Hamas is not Palestine, and Palestinians are not collectively responsible for Hamas. (Even thou Hamas has every right to fight back against Nazis (aka Israelis). Israel is a heavily armed state with overwhelming military superiority and extensive Western backing. Palestinians arent.
