Saw a comment on reddit that irked me. A trans woman was talking about having a naturally deep voice, but wasn't necessarily talking about it in a disparaging way, just kind of matter-of-factly. And someone replies saying "voice training can really help with that!"

It's like, maybe she doesn't mind her voice? Why should the expectation be that all trans women should sound like cis women? And, you don't think a trans woman isn't aware of voice training? It was a really minor microaggression, but as a woman with a deep voice, it just got under my skin a little
