I've gotten the point where I report every parking violation in my neighbourhood. We have really skinny streets and sidewalks so it makes it really dangerous. I think some of my neighbours don't like me but I can live with that if it keeps people safer.

I had that same feeling this morning when I yelled at a guy for parking in an unprotected section of a protected lane. Turned out he had a flat tire. There’s a side street that allows parking that was the same distance away. It was a choice to park there, but I felt like the bad guy for saying so.

I think there's/there would be some value to there being a public dialogue that just repeatedly says "no you didn't" every time someone with car brain says "but I had to"
