wonderful thing about modern aus where no one dies is that you can invent brand new forms of suffering for the characters. let's stick shen yuan in the same book club as tianlang-jun and have them read romantasy together

i had downloaded a good dozen or so fics earlier in the year (was traveling abroad to see family, attend funeral, had intermittent internet access) but now that we're here at a big outage guess how many of those fics ive shared around at large? none!!

like just keep it to yourself instead of throwing it all out there so it ends up getting scraped by ai. its honestly a lot more selfish than just keeping it all to themself

also very frustrating to see sentiments like "i NEED to have all these fics i didn't write publicly available to get through this outage" like. number one find something else to do, it'll be good for you. number two it's awesome that you have a massive archive for YOU to reread
