It costs maybe $1,500 now, once, to run a 30b-class model, which accomplishes what most households would "need" it for: drafting, recipes, homework, email, etc. That will plunge. DIY skill gaps are also vanishing. ChatGPT will literally tell people how to build the free thing that replaces it.
