For most meds (like Tylenol), this is excellent advice! For oral estradiol? Lmao Most docs target 100-200 pg/nl for trans women. The top of the normal cisf range is 400. But during pregnancy, estradiol routinely hits 40,000 pg/nl for months. Its fine to double up on oral e once in a while. 🤭
Show PostSo tired of all the AI art used in these GTA Servers but if I wanna have fun I have to deal with it. 😐😔
Show PostDuring pregnancy, cis womens' estradiol levels routinely get as high as 30,000, and stay there for months, with no ill effects. Supraphysiologic estradiol levels can be dangerous *if maintained over months to years*. One doubled dose won't hurt anyone. www.perinatology.com/Reference/Re...
Show PostDocs generally target 100-200 pg/nl for transfem levels. Normal cisfem levels go up to 400. Unless you're running real hot on your dosing, doubling up won't even take you out of normal cisfeminine ranges. But that's not even the real part!
Show PostHey, there, I'm a gal with a PhD specializing in biomedical communications and trans science! This information is well-meant, clearly, and appropriate for other meds like Tylenol, but is not accurate for oral estradiol (honestly, most estradiols).
