not to dunk on a stranger but I do think that aside from like, the height of the pandemic, or maybe the narrow months immediately following the financial crash, you can't really point to any recent era of human life where "everyone was miserable" or "everyone hated themselves", that's a you issue

Important local politics update: the DSA-aligned candidate made fun of cybertruck guy for a typo he made in a Facebook comment saying he was voting against the public library levy. Cybertruck guy then revealed he is dyslexic and is condemning DSA-candidate for mocking his disability.
