One of my strongest teaching beliefs is: You should try to have students only do one new thing at a time (this is v hard to achieve) And I am constantly struck by the balance bike vs tricycle example that choosing the RIGHT core skill to focus on mastering first (balance > pedaling) really matters

Quick update on my dad: thankfully, he’s recovering and it doesn’t seem as bad as last time. He had some side effects after the hip surgery because of his liver condition, but he’s getting better. Hopefully, he won’t have to stay at the hospital too long. Thanks for all the love and good wishes.
