Still take my kids trick or treating. Had them draw on each of their pumpkins and carved it for them tonight. Alive and well here (other than all the adults that don’t turn on their lights and hand out candy… still have some pretty awesome neighbors into it)

Yeah, what happens is that people mentally exclude huge swaths of the country from their maps of places that matter. Rents in the Bronx are literally a fraction of rents in Brooklyn, but people simply pretend it doesn’t exist because it complicates the narrative too much.
