5 years ago I walked into Wellington Hospital, Aotearoa (NZ) for 11-12 hours of cancer surgery (by 2 teams). The surgery was brutal. Followed by a 3 week in-hospital stay. The recovery took months. But I’m alive. I survived . It cost me nothing. May this never change.
