Nobody, including WaPo, believes this poll. I don’t believe it either. But the question must be asked: are the Democrats on the verge of the breakthrough with college+ voters in the South and the Lower Midwest that would unlock competitiveness in like six more states?

2022 shouldn’t have gone as poorly as it did. Dems shouldn’t have been a few thousand votes away from keeping the House in 22/24 and keeping PA-Sen. generational fumble and if they somehow fuck up so bad the Senate 54+ Dem in 4 days that’s a massive hole to dig out of in a biased chamber

Nobody wants to reckon with that literally any other Republican in 2016 and 2024 would have won by even bigger margins than Trump, very likely with commanding legislative majorities
