All I want to leave behind in my sons is for them to know to look for their joy. Of course negativity will happen. Feel it. Cry if you have to. Scream maybe. But when you’re done, know that tomorrow will come and there will be another opportunity to find your smile.

Our house is on ~1 acre, our 3 adult sons live w/us, & they’ve been a lot lately so I’ve been fantasizing about putting a tiny house out back for 1 or 2 of ‘em. Today I had an epiphany, the tiny house could be for ME! I’m tempted to look up what they cost, but I don’t wanna burst the bubble.

Do it ... I wish I'd tried to get a diagnosis back when my brother got his (~20 years ago) and came home and said "you guys should all get tested, you definitely all have ADHD." It's not too late, and it might help.

Spent a while talking to 15 about books today. 13 told me she finished a book she got for her bday (that I picked it out) and is so excited I want to read it too. 10 spontaneously told me at dinner that she’s enjoying a book I recommended. 8 negotiated for more reading time at bedtime. #Joy #BookSky
