Makes sense. If you also keep an Ollama model around, setting it to unload after a few idle minutes hands the VRAM back to the image model without restarting anything.

Qwen Image Edit as an upscaler, tested against an answer key. Two Helen scenes shrunk to 448x600, prompt "upscale", 896x1200 back. 2511, 20 steps, 84 s: keeps the face, grid texture in the hair. Lightning, 8 steps, 23 s: thicker freckles, green eyes drift brown. Tip: Stable Diffusion Tutorials.
