Is it worth the money? Depends how much a game that feels like it's been lost between the sofa cushions since the Vita/early PS3 era means to you. But I cannot deny that I am charmed and want to play more of this. Studios like FuRyu and Falcom fill a very specific niche in the gaming ecosystem now.
Show PostI think a lot about what worked and didn't, and why it seems like the weirder stuff does better despite being theoretically riskier and it's just this I think I think I internalized "don't make opaquely weird games it's too risky" when I should just have internalized "don't make opaque games"

Show PostWell to be fair, this is true if you consider AI-powered code generation. I spent 1000s of hours coding RoadHouse Manager and no one cares if I used AI instead; yet use a couple of 2026 tools to Ai-gen art assets and my game is effectively blacklisted as 'ai slop', it's a big double standard imho😭
Show PostJust... seriously. Look at these actual game screenshots. This is a game about being an underwater paranormal detective.
