On this, we are in complete alignment. Perhaps it's too early to say, but I'm of the opinion that EA is *cooked*. And it angers me that the people responsible will not feel the pain as it collapses.

me: millennial optimism never existed, everyone fucking hated themselves also me: this "obama-era indie poptimism" music playlist that i found online a couple of weeks ago is way way way more comforting than i want to admit
Show Posti would argue that people were writing this music as a faked smile, not because it was reflective of a real cultural attitude. it's not like things were "good" or "happy" post-9/11 or during the 2008 recession so a lot of this music scans to me as like "AAAAAAAAAAA PRETEND WE ARE OKAY AAAAAAAA"
