But like I’ve said, unless they’re prepared to physically stop Dems from being seated, I think they will fail. And I think that the repercussions must be severe for any public official who goes along with attempts to block seating between now and the next Congress.

It’s really important that every news outlet stresses that neither Trump nor Mike Johnson has any say whatsoever in whether elected members of Congress are seated. The fact they’re talking about trying to invalidate results is newsworthy, obviously, but it shouldn’t be treated as a fait accompli.
