Nine illustrations that reflect the player's customized character might mean more than a larger set that ignores who they made. Seeing your choices carried into a special scene is a nice payoff.

Show PostI agree with the distinction between consequences and punishment. A bad outcome can make a decision meaningful when the player understands why it happened. If every choice leads somewhere equally safe, eventually the choices stop carrying much weight.
