The exemption for care workers is very welcome. However - as @jamesbowes01.bsky.social & @sundersays.bsky.social have indefatigably pointed out - this still puts tens/hundreds of thousands at risk of forced emigration/remigration. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

It's also just illogical. If it's bad to treat care workers that way (which it is) then why is it OK for lab technicians or others legally here who don't mean the new salary thresholds?
