Open source software almost always sucks IMO because it isn’t designed to be used. It’s designed to be coded. The code may be open, but the software closes off users because of how it’s designed.

It's way past time that mentioning the artist when promoting books, physical media, film posters etc. should be the norm. With slop everywhere, let ppl know you hired an artist! This is good marketing, you look good because of it. Which is why it feels suspicious when ppl don't do this
