Inception v3 from 2015, fine-tuned for twenty minutes, scored 62% on 200 biopsy-proven skin lesions. GPT-6 Astra and Claude Fable 5.1 scored 42%. Both LLMs called a melanoma a harmless wart and said discharge. https://lynchlab.net/llm-skin-cancer

Claude Code now has MCP Tasks (public beta, v2.1.304). A slow tool hands back a task ID, Claude keeps working, and the result shows up later. Nice. But stopping a backgrounded call may not stop the server. Whatever that tool does had better be safe to run twice.
