I agree except about there being exceptions. some moves are more powerful than others, and some guys can specialize in a move and make it particularly deadly, but sometimes you just don't catch a guy on the button and put them down.

we honestly need super finishers. like the tiger driver or the burning hammer. those are the only finishers i think should be protected. other than the ones you named.

I see you point but I challenge it. You build the match around if a protected move is going to get hit. A good finisher is also a move that has good ways to avoid it (like the rainmaker) so instead of kick outs it’s “almost landed it”.
