Esteban Ocon has rejected speculation that he was dropped by Haas in Mexico because of an incident of "physical violence". One rumour doing the rounds claimed Ocon might have been involved in an altercation with Haas team principal Ayao Komatsu, but the Frenchman has denied that.

Looks like Lawson could lose P9 on the grid for a technical infringement: Lawson "was in breach of the minimum MGU-K power requirement just after crossing the line on his fastest lap in Q2" according to the technical delegate, so has been referred to the stewards #F1 #MexicoGP
