if these are screenshots from the images in godot, you still gotta set your texture filtering on the sprite 2d node to nearest neighbor!

Pixel art is a good starting point, I messed with it for a couple of years. Most people will tell you it's easiest, but I think it very much comes down to preference and how you work. I've been a 100x more productive since I moved to 3D and learning Blender. Best of luck, feel free to reach out
