Back to your original point. If dems abandon trans people it allows the issue to be weaponized like it is in Missouri right now. There's an anti-trans bill ostensibly about surgery on kids which is an issue that simply doesn't exist. The actual bill: a trojan horse to re-ban abortion in the state.
