The thing that’s great about the line is it’s at a really serious moment and it’s not performed as a joke. That is something this man would say. And it just gets to sit there and somehow doesn’t break the mood of the scene, but is also very funny

Yeah, I also thought it was functional but good enough for me! I get frustrated when a movie is a visually beautiful work of art but the script is completely dreadful. I think this movie only had three "Did you just ____? I think you just ____!" lines and that good enough for me!
