Closest I came to rubbing elbows with Bob was after a show at old Boston Garden on the 6-night run in ‘94, 2 friends staying at their hotel invited me & my pal to the bar. We walk in & there’s Bob with 2 friends. He sent the bartender over to our table to ask if we’d mind if he smokes. NO! (1/2)
