This hike is *very* steep and rocky but I saw (a) a pug! and (b) a little black and white low-rider dachshund, hiking right up the hill! doing fine! not even as winded as the labs and doodles.

Fewer kids this year. Took us til 8pm to hit 300 trick-or-treaters. That usually happens by 7. Some of my favourite kids to see every year decided they were “too grown up” to trick-or-treat this year 😭
