I have only ever felt the loss of an inspirational actor as though I’d lost a close friend once.When Robin Williams passed, that was the first. Now with Patrick’s passing, the loss has hit harder than I had expected. The comfort of watching him portray Captain Picard and hearing his voice 2/?

As a boy, I grew up with Star Trek TNG. The voice of Patrick Stewart… taking me to the final frontier. That unmistakable voice, steadfast and true. Through childhood and adulthood, I found solitude and comfort watching and rewatching those episodes, and movies. 1/?
