Israel did not leave Gaza. They evacuated Israelis but retained control over everything going in and out, even retained control over the sea and airspace. And built a wall manned with snipers which have regularly targeted Palestinians.

Why is it that everyone who lived in South Africa & fought against apartheid says that Israel is an apartheid state but Israel, which financed and supplied arms to the apartheid regime, claims to be a democracy? In a real democracy the Arab parties would be invited to join a coalition govt.
