Outer Wilds has been nothing but anguish lately. Without spoiling, I have everythjng I need to finish the story, but I just... don't know how to lmao. I keep wracking my brain, refusing to look anything up cause I KNOW it'll be soooo gratifying piecing it all together myself, I WILL beat this game!!

#blocktober for Smugglers Den in Highguard. I wanted a tiered layout so there could be vertical destruction paths and a no-man's land for an explosive barrel minefield. And I knew I wanted a rocky stormy coastal base vibe. The artist (Paul Tran) turned it into a pirate-y themed base which I loved.

Tbh I’m just not very surprised so it’s hard for me to be sad. I felt the same way about Volition when it shuttered, down to having to watch annoying people who have never played the games crow abt woke killing games or whatever

The VG discourse was so fucking exhausting it was literally that “first time?” gif as people who had never played SR ranted abt the new one as if the series hadn’t always been full of the shit they were yelling abt. Unfortunately neither game was particularly good which made it annoying.
