My main argument is that "a bunch of guys with a chronometer and a note pad spending a few entire days going up and down a line while taking note of the apparent causes of delay" might be more effective than a dataset whose main strengths is just having a lot of datapoint.

Could you manually remove the signals where the streetcar actually passes underneath rather than through? 2 on Bloor at Spadina 1 at St Clair W 4 on Bay S of Front And 2 on the Queensway where there are no streetcars

This is a fantastic tool to pick out where the Transit Signal Priority is weak, disabled, broken, or poorly calibrated. I also love that it includes the Open Data attribute for presence/absence of TSP
