It's the circle of life - pub arguments used to be solved by some idiot at the bar who would confidently give you a completely wrong answer, then Google came along and you got the right answer straight away and now AI search engines confidently give you a completely wrong answer.

As everybody knows, garbage in, garbage out. Your AI could be conscious, it could be the most intelligent entity to have ever existed, but if it builds an internal world on fraudulent, inaccurate or just plain wrong data, it cannot produce reasoned arguments to explain the external world.
