Today someone asked “what can you do with a linguistics degree” and I thought of a friend who dressed drones up in hawk costumes to see if squirrels have different cries based on direction of a predator to warn their little squirrel buddies. They do! Anyway so you can do that

Met someone on a long train ride and told them about @semble.so. I asked what they read lately, and it turns out we’d both been enjoying the same book. We ended up talking the whole ride, was really lovely. So excited for apps like Semble to help meaningfully connect people around shared interests 😇
