I don’t pay much attention to Zitron, so I can't speak to how grifty his work is, but wrt "9 of the last 0 AI bubbles", I'm not sure that we can dismiss economic red flags in such a young industry so casually. As the adage goes, the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.

My kid is teaching himself piano just because he can. He once lost a game of chess to his uncle and took it so personally, he spent the next several years reading strategy books. He read the Emily Wilson translation of The Iliad on vacation just because i said he probably wouldn’t finish it.
